WELCOMING A NEW MEMBER TO THE FAMILY, IS AS WE KNOW A BIG RESPONSIBILITY.
The first few months are so important, settling in with you at around 6 to 8 weeks the puppy is exploring its new home and family. After a couple of months old the puppy feels more confident and is rapidly establishing the hierarchy from their point of view, sussing-out who’s boss!
Puppies shouldn’t be left alone for long as this causes stress and will develop bad behavior over time, something that is tough to rectify. Their natural willingness to please should be used to teach good habits, I can work with you reinforcing your training and play, working on recall and preventing pulling when on the lead for example, sometimes suggesting ways to improve if necessary. During regular visits I will be able to help with socialization development to produce a well balanced young dog, that is at ease with the world around it.
