I have compiled a range of helpful tips and advice for all of you who love to keep chickens and appreciate high-quality organic eggs. Giving guidance on timing and routines to maintain vigour and health in your flock — healthy happy hens produce better eggs!

Healthcare issues can very quickly get out of hand with poultry, so be vigilant with your birds, their coops and runs. As we are all aware prevention is better than cure.

Hygiene is King!

This is the first thing to get right, maintaining clean water and drinkers, clean food hoppers, clean coops and especially nesting boxes.

Providing them natural comforts shade and wind protection and a dusting area. As much fresh grass as possible, keeping their population density low or in balance with their allocated area.
